Estimated UV Resin Curing Times

These are practical starting estimates. Actual curing time varies with lamp model, wavelength, coverage, distance, resin depth, color, glitter, inclusions, mold transparency, and outdoor conditions.

Start with the estimated time for your light source. If the resin is not completely hard and non-tacky, continue curing in additional one-minute lamp cycles.

How to Use Clear UV Resin

1. Prepare the project. Work on a clean, level surface. Make sure molds, bezels, and inclusions are dry and free of dust.
2. Apply a thin layer. Dispense the resin directly from the precision nozzle. For clear work, use a 1-2 mm (0.04-0.08 inch) layer whenever possible.
3. Add color or inclusions carefully. Heavy pigment, dark color, glitter, and opaque inclusions can block UV light. Use lighter color loads and thinner layers.
4. Center the project under the lamp. Make sure the complete resin area receives direct light. Cure using the estimated table above.
5. Check the cure. Add one-minute cycles until the surface is fully hard and non-tacky. Build projects deeper than 3 mm (about 1/8 inch) in separately cured layers.
