Fast Set Turbo is a two-part polyaspartic coating made for experienced tumbler makers who need an extremely fast, thin final coat. It is not epoxy. Turbo behaves differently from Artist Resin and Original Fast Set Epoxy, so follow the preparation, mixing, and thin-application directions closely.

Turbo has 5 minutes or less of working time, becomes dry to the touch in about 55 minutes, and reaches full cure in approximately 24 hours under normal room conditions.

How to Prepare, Mix, and Apply Turbo

1. Degrease and sand the application surface. Make sure the tumbler turner is level.
2. Let paint, inks, sealers, and other underlying products dry completely. Turbo is moisture sensitive; allow alcohol inks, paints, and similar layers about 24 hours to dry before coating.
3. Measure equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Mix thoroughly for about one minute, scraping the sides and bottom, until clear.
4. Apply immediately in a very thin, even layer. Use about half the amount you would normally use for an epoxy coating.
5. If a second layer is needed, apply it approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours after the first layer for best adhesion.
6. Allow approximately 24 hours for full cure and follow all product-label handling and safety directions.

Important Turbo Application Rules

• Do not apply thick layers. Excess material can create waves, large bubbles, or separation.
• Do not mix large quantities or overheat the material.
• Do not cross-contaminate Turbo components with epoxy resin, epoxy hardener, or other coatings.
• Do not add liquid colorants or unapproved additives.
• Keep moisture away. Store closed containers in a dry place at room temperature.

Fast Set Turbo vs. Original Fast Set Epoxy

Choose Turbo when you are comfortable with a 5-minute-or-less work window and want a specialized polyaspartic final coat that is dry to the touch in about 55 minutes.

Choose Original Fast Set Epoxy when you want a fast-setting epoxy with approximately 5-10 minutes of working time, a 1.5-2 hour recoat time, and a more familiar epoxy application.

Choose Artist Resin when you want approximately 25-40 minutes of working time for standard art, tumbler, and coating projects.
